Cast AlNiCo magnets are produced by precision investment casting, allowing complex 3D shapes such as horseshoe, U-shape, multi-pole and instrument geometries that other magnet materials cannot form economically.

They are widely used in instruments, sensors, magnetic tools and equipment exposed to high temperature. Cast AlNiCo offers the highest output of the AlNiCo family (up to about 13.5 MGOe).

FAQ

Cast AlNiCo Magnets — FAQ

Can cast AlNiCo produce complex shapes?
Yes. Casting is the strength of AlNiCo — horseshoe, U-shaped, multi-pole and intricate contours can be cast to near-net shape, saving machining.
How stable is AlNiCo flux over temperature?
AlNiCo has the lowest reversible temperature coefficient of all permanent magnets (about -0.02 %/°C), so flux remains highly stable from -40 °C to over 500 °C.
Do you provide free samples for testing?
Yes, sample orders are welcome. Send your drawing or specification together with the intended application so our engineers can recommend the correct grade, magnetization direction and coating before we prepare samples.
Can the factory produce to my drawing with special tolerances?
Yes. We machine, grind and inspect to customer drawing tolerances. For sintered NdFeB the standard machining tolerance is ±0.05 mm and can be tightened to ±0.02 mm with diamond grinding where the geometry allows.
