AlNiCo Permanent Magnets

Cast and sintered AlNiCo magnet manufacturer — excellent temperature stability up to 550 °C, high coercivity options and complex cast shapes. ISO certified factory in Ningbo, China.

AlNiCo magnets are alloys of aluminium, nickel and cobalt with iron, produced by casting or sintering. They feature outstanding temperature stability (usable up to 550 °C), the lowest reversible temperature coefficient of any magnet material, and good corrosion resistance.

Ningbo Pole Magnet produces cast AlNiCo magnets in complex shapes and sintered AlNiCo for precision components, serving instruments, sensors, magnetic tools and high-temperature equipment.

FAQ

AlNiCo Permanent Magnets — Frequently Asked Questions

What temperature can AlNiCo magnets withstand?
Cast AlNiCo magnets can operate continuously up to 550 °C, making them the preferred choice for high-temperature instruments and aerospace applications.
What is the difference between cast and sintered AlNiCo?
Cast AlNiCo allows complex shapes and higher magnetic output (up to about 13.5 MGOe), while sintered AlNiCo offers tighter dimensional tolerance and better mechanical consistency for smaller precision parts.
Do you provide free samples for testing?
Yes, sample orders are welcome. Send your drawing or specification together with the intended application so our engineers can recommend the correct grade, magnetization direction and coating before we prepare samples.
Can the factory produce to my drawing with special tolerances?
Yes. We machine, grind and inspect to customer drawing tolerances. For sintered NdFeB the standard machining tolerance is ±0.05 mm and can be tightened to ±0.02 mm with diamond grinding where the geometry allows.
What coating options do you recommend for NdFeB magnets?
Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) for general indoor use, zinc for cost-sensitive applications, and epoxy or Parylene for environments with humidity, salt or organic solvents. Our QC team can help select the best coating for your operating environment.
