SmCo arc and segment magnets power motors and generators that operate above 200 °C — aerospace actuators, defence motors, oilfield tools and high-speed servo drives — where sintered NdFeB cannot survive.
We produce SmCo arcs with precise radius grinding and radial magnetization, in Sm1Co5 and Sm2Co17 grades.

FAQ
SmCo Arc & Segment Magnets for High-Temperature Motors — FAQ
What temperature rating do SmCo arcs support?
Sm2Co17 arcs operate reliably up to 300–350 °C and Sm1Co5 up to about 300 °C, far beyond sintered NdFeB.
Can SmCo arcs be magnetized radially?
Yes, radial magnetization is standard for motor arcs, applied with dedicated fixtures to control the pole arc.
Do you provide free samples for testing?
Yes, sample orders are welcome. Send your drawing or specification together with the intended application so our engineers can recommend the correct grade, magnetization direction and coating before we prepare samples.
Can the factory produce to my drawing with special tolerances?
Yes. We machine, grind and inspect to customer drawing tolerances. For sintered NdFeB the standard machining tolerance is ±0.05 mm and can be tightened to ±0.02 mm with diamond grinding where the geometry allows.
Need Custom Magnets for Your Project?
Send your drawing, grade, magnetization direction and quantity. Our engineers will reply with a quotation within 24 hours.
