This page lists the magnetic and physical properties of the ferrite grades we produce, allowing you to compare performance with rare earth magnets.

Ferrite is distinguished by its low cost, high coercivity, excellent corrosion resistance and stability at temperatures up to 250 °C.

FAQ

Ferrite Magnet Properties — FAQ

Which ferrite grade should I choose?
Use Y20–Y25 for cost-driven applications and Y30H-2, Y33 or Y35 where higher output or high temperature stability is needed. Our engineers can match the grade to your pull force and size constraints.
Can ferrite be used above 250 °C?
The recommended maximum working temperature is 250 °C. Above this, flux loss becomes significant; SmCo or AlNiCo are better for extreme temperatures.
Do you provide free samples for testing?
Yes, sample orders are welcome. Send your drawing or specification together with the intended application so our engineers can recommend the correct grade, magnetization direction and coating before we prepare samples.
Can the factory produce to my drawing with special tolerances?
Yes. We machine, grind and inspect to customer drawing tolerances. For sintered NdFeB the standard machining tolerance is ±0.05 mm and can be tightened to ±0.02 mm with diamond grinding where the geometry allows.
