NdFeB sphere magnets are precision-ground neodymium balls used in magnetic couplings, rotor positioning, closure mechanisms, educational kits and bobbly fridge magnets. Spheres are ground from sintered blanks to tight sphericity and can be diametrically or axially magnetized.

We supply sphere diameters from 1 mm up to 30 mm with sphericity and size tolerances suitable for assembly automation. Larger spheres are available on request.

FAQ

NdFeB Sphere & Ball Magnets — FAQ

What is the smallest sphere size you produce?
Standard production starts at 1 mm diameter. Sub-millimetre spheres can be developed for special projects.
Can spheres be magnetized diametrically?
Yes, diametrical magnetization is common for coupling applications. The pole orientation is marked or specified by drawing.
Do you provide free samples for testing?
Yes, sample orders are welcome. Send your drawing or specification together with the intended application so our engineers can recommend the correct grade, magnetization direction and coating before we prepare samples.
Can the factory produce to my drawing with special tolerances?
Yes. We machine, grind and inspect to customer drawing tolerances. For sintered NdFeB the standard machining tolerance is ±0.05 mm and can be tightened to ±0.02 mm with diamond grinding where the geometry allows.
