NdFeB disc and cylinder magnets are the workhorses of neodymium magnets — used in holding, sensing, speakers, couplings and countless OEM applications. Discs are magnetized axially (through thickness) and cylinders either axially or diametrically.

We produce discs and cylinders in the full N30–N52 range with diameters from 1 mm to 160 mm. Countersunk and step configurations are available for direct screw mounting.

FAQ

NdFeB Disc & Cylinder Magnets — FAQ

What is the strongest disc magnet you offer?
The strongest combination is N52 grade magnetized axially. For example a 20 mm diameter × 10 mm N52 disc provides roughly 40–45 N pull force on a flat steel plate.
Do you stock standard disc magnets?
Yes, we maintain stock sizes of common discs for fast sampling. Tell us the diameter, thickness and grade and we will confirm availability.
Do you provide free samples for testing?
Yes, sample orders are welcome. Send your drawing or specification together with the intended application so our engineers can recommend the correct grade, magnetization direction and coating before we prepare samples.
Can the factory produce to my drawing with special tolerances?
Yes. We machine, grind and inspect to customer drawing tolerances. For sintered NdFeB the standard machining tolerance is ±0.05 mm and can be tightened to ±0.02 mm with diamond grinding where the geometry allows.
